How to Dress for Snow in Ushuaia (3-Layer System)
In short
For snow in Ushuaia, wear three layers: a thermal base layer that wicks moisture, a warm mid layer (fleece or down) and a waterproof, windproof outer layer. Add gloves, a hat, a neck gaiter and sunglasses.
Base layer
Thermal, synthetic or merino wool. Never cotton.
Mid layer
Fleece or light down to retain heat.
Outer layer
Waterproof jacket and pants. If you don't have them, rent them at our Rental.
